Their name never leaves the device
The story is written with a placeholder and their name is put back on your screen. The story and picture services never receive it.
Your permission comes first
Under 13, no story is written until your verified consent is on file — two separate consents, and you can withdraw either one any time.
Every conversation is screened
The guides never diagnose or advise. If a child says something that suggests they are not safe, the story stops, they are shown how to reach a trusted grown-up, and you are told.
Delete everything, any time
One button removes your account, every profile, every book and every picture. What a child types is not kept by us at all.

Who is it for?
Children from five up to eighteen — the book changes with them, from an eight-page picture book to an illustrated novella — and grown-ups making a book for their younger self.
What is “the move” at the end of every book?
A simple physical action for the feeling — squeeze everything tight for five then let it go, push both feet into the floor, spread the cape wide and say thank you out loud. Something a child can do in their bedroom, so the feeling moves through instead of getting stuck.
Where does what my child types go?
With their name replaced by a placeholder, the words go to the service that writes the reply and the story. The picture service receives only scene descriptions and appearance choices. We do not keep what they typed. The full list is on the privacy page.
What if my child says something worrying?
The story stops. They see a warm screen that says a trusted grown-up should hear it, with the 988 Lifeline and the Childhelp hotline, and the grown-up on the account is told — without the words themselves.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account. Your books stay yours.
